This is a follow up review. We have been getting a few inches of rain, and the pond liner is showing evidence of water under the liner. The patch I made 2 weeks ago is already showing failure signs that the epoxy is not holding the patch. I do not recommend buying the product.

I did not use the tan patch material. I did not use the alcohol. I used the sandpaper extensively, because this is very important. I used a black rubber patch that's double sided sticky, with wax paper on one side, because it would not be as visible as the tan patch. I did not use the tiny paper cups. I used a paint liner, much easier to use. I used the epoxy from the kit, and had to furnish the rest myself. This kit is only worth the epoxy. I used my grade 60 sandpaper that comes in a much larger sheet. All work was performed with a broom handle, I did not have to get in the cold water and stir the pond debris. So far the epoxy is not toxic to my Koi, but it's been less thank week. I would recommend buying the smaller kit for a savings of more than half the price, and purchase the rest elsewhere. The epoxy is really all I needed. I used 50% of the epoxy for a 3" x 8" patch.
All prices are in USD.
